Paradigm Consulting & Coaching

Pursuing Prosperity.

Marques Lang

Marques is a Financial Wellness Coach at Paradigm Consulting & Coaching. As a Financial Wellness Coach, Marques works with entrepreneurs, individuals and couples to identify and refine financial goals and values, gain clarity about their money relationships, and increase financial resiliency in areas such as debt, spending, and wealth preservation. Marques' approach to money focuses on meeting you where you are in your financial journey and merging the personal and technical sides of managing finances. As a result of this style, clients have reported being able to find more peace when it comes to their money.

Marques' passion for personal finance began during his junior year of high school when he had to complete a real-life budgeting project in an economics class. It did not take long before he realized that both he, and his family, did not have a strong grasp of money management. Consequently, Marques received one of the lowest grades of his academic career on the project. Fast forward ten years, Marques had been married, divorced, and lost his 17-month-old daughter. The combination of these eye-opening experiences aided in facilitating Marques' commitment to making it his life's mission to empower people in financial transition to understand and feel comfortable with money.

Prior to joining Paradigm Consulting & Coaching, Marques founded an investment advisory firm. In that role, he was responsible for the development and maintenance of a financial literacy curriculum and provided comprehensive financial planning services targeted to athletes, individuals, and families. Marques has also been an operations director and mental health associate.

Marques earned his JD from Lewis & Clark Law School; Certificate in Financial Planning from Pepperdine University; BS from Portland State University; and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant.

In his free time, Marques enjoys kayaking; paddle boarding; hiking; snowshoeing; wine tasting; and seeing live music, particularly jazz, blues, funk, and soul.
